Interpreters Corner???

Hi my name is Joe Croteau and I have created deafquest as an online community for the deaf community. I believe in communities in general and Interpreters are (in my opinion) part of the deaf community and actually comprise a community by themselves.
Living and working in relative isolation from each other in today's hectic and segmented society, it is difficult to have much contact for professional support,specially living in rural areas. I thought that having a website where we can share information keep in touch and have some possible forum discussions, might be a worthwhile idea.
If there is some interest maybe you would all have some ideas as to what to put on this site .... anyone who is an interpreter working here in the Southern Tier area, click the logon link and use the 'Become A Member' button on the bottom to fill out a member request (no charge) or click the 'Contact Us' link and send me a message or if you know my email just email me. I hope this proves to be an enjoyable and beneficial project.
